Road/Lane Subsidence

Reported via desktop in the Other structure issue category by Amelia Young at 11:39, Fri 12 December 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14190454.

The steep one in eight lane pinpointed is moving. No one has taken the initiative to plant trees to take up the high deluge of water which runs down this lane. They are currently working on the surface of the road, but whether that subsidence will be addressed is another matter. This route is the only route for the emergency services such as fire engines and ambulances from the bypass otherwise, it means a long trip down the bypass to the Gledrig and up through St Martins and negotiate the the long winding lanes. This is completely out of the question because of the risk to life.
