Awful road surface, lane cracked in the middle
Reported via desktop in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 18:17, Thu 11 December 2025
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14190397.
Astbury Lane leading up the hill after driving past Astbury Terrace towards Chelmarsh is very rutted, full of potholes, there is a large crack down the centre of it and the height difference between the two sides of the crack is getting worse - subsidence. The photos don't seem to highlight how bad the road surface is. The whole stretch needs resurfacing.
