Bad road surface and multiple potholes

Whole stretch of Astbury Lane opposite the entrance to Astbury Fall Lodges leading down the hill is rutted, bumpy and full of potholes, it needs resurfacing, it's beyond patching up. Cars need to go very slowly over the road surface so they don't get damaged.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
