Square edged pothole on the road near village hall

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14190386.

This pothole has been growing for a few weeks and is now very severe with a square edge as you drive uphill. It is also difficult to avoid on this single-track road which is the only road into the village. The existing surface has degraded on the downhill edge of a previous repair and the square edge and increasingly deep hole is now in danger of causing damage to wheels and tyres

  • Hello, Whilst a repair has been made it is not complete and a hole remains on the downhill side of the repair. This is clearly going to quickly lead to the deterioration of the repair which has been made resulting in further remedial work being required. The other pothole repairs in village which were done at the same time are generally pretty good but this one was only partially repaired.
