Risk of serious Damage / injury

The Lane is flooded because of blocked drains which have still not been cleared. I witnessed a cyclist fall off their bicycle if they had been knocked out or been unable to get up they would have probably drown it’s that bad. This lane is a national cycle route, used regularly by walkers and is also used for traffic to RAF Cosford and Midlands Air Ambulance.

    Still exactly the same after 4 weeks Thank you for your concern Shropshire council. I look forward to a council tax reduction for all locals who have to avoid the flood or risk going through it. 2 cars to my knowledge have been damaged Fantastic job.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
