Water on highway

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14189103.

Utilities were here in the night but the water has returned due to blocked drain. The water has now frozen in the roadway and on the footpaths.

  • Please could someone contact customer back as this is now urgent. She is the chair of Burford PC. She has been advised by STW that this is a SC issue as the manhole cover is blocking the drain and causing water to back up. As soon as it rains again it will be the same situation so it needs looking at as a matter of urgency as the flood caused was very deep
