Deep pothole on Buildwas bridge

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14188858.

A deep pothole is now on the opposite carriageway after yet another poor temporary repair of the multi reported pothole on the other side of the road. Again very dangerous and damaging for tyres, wheels etc. Reoccurring issue for 2 years and needs permanent solution.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
