Overhanging trees on public footpath

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown trees/ hedges category by Janet Evans at 17:14, Wed 19 November 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14188687.

Footpath joining New Road with Southfield Road has the natural light blocked by overhanging trees. The only streetlight is at the Southfield Road end of the path and it is difficult to see how additional lights can be added. Trees need to be cut to a more manageable height for future maintenance but most immediately cut sufficiently to allow daylight down.
