Approaching from Hook-a-Gate on the Longden road you cross the main A5 bridge. Just before you cross the bridge approx 30metrs the road is in a dangerous condition in the middle section, this forces vehicles approaching from the Hook-a-Gate side of the Longden road to cross over into the on coming traffic on the right hand side. The problem is caused by. Deep long fissures in the road surface which can change the coarse of a vehicle if you are not aware of the condition of the road. I have seen motorists deliberately cross over to the opposite side of there right hand driving lane to avoid the dangous road surface. This has prsisted for 12 months. I noticed recently that a small section of this complaint road has been filled in. But this is not satisfactory.
