Slippery fallen leaves taking up more than half of the pavement

Reported via desktop in the Verge/ visibility problem category anonymously at 08:49, Wed 12 November 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 14187975.

This occurs every year at this time. The pavements near the pelican crossing by the railway bridge are covered in fallen leaves, These become slippery, invested with hidden dog faeces and other debris such as part of a traffic cone. The walking area of pavement is reduced by 50 per cent forcing pedestrian to walk on the road to pass. Solution: Drop the two offending trees?
