Dropped kerb required
Reported via desktop in the Other highways issue category anonymously at 21:40, Fri 7 November 2025
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14187758.
There is currently no dropped kerb providing safe access from our cluster of houses around the layby to the pavement on the other side of the road. To reach the nearest pavement, residents must either cross the busy and fast st Martins road or walk along a grass verge. The kerb on the opposite side of the road is very high, making it difficult and unsafe—particularly for parents with prams, older residents, or anyone with mobility issues. A dropped kerb would greatly improve safety and accessibility for all residents.
