Street light damaged

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14187682.

This streetlamp was damaged by a contractor delivery back in August and has still not been replaced. We are currently suffering antisocial behaviour - objects being thrown at our house, attempts to steal from our car and our opposite neighbour so desperately need this lighting to be reinstated and preferably by a more powerful lamp as has already been carried out in other parts of this road .

  • We have ordered works to remedy the issue. If further works are needed, the issue is likely to take longer to resolve.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
