Standing water after rain in front of our driveway

The pictures are the end of our driveway, Mount Pleasant, Bynd Lane, Billingsley. We moved here in April, the road was resurfaced in March we believe. We have had a very dry summer so this issue was not known until recent rains but now we have this constant slow draining standing water problem after persistent rain. Furthermore the Severn Trent access points for us and next door are being flooded because of this problem. Some drainage arrangement for this issue is urgently needed.
