Missing bend in road signs, broken arrow signs

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14187600.

There are several missing road signs for the bend in the road. (2 missing at the bottom of the curve and 2 missing at the top. The main silver cheveron sign has been taken out last weekend by a car crash and is on the floor, several bollards are down and missing all the way along the right hand bend keep getting hit by cars and lorries and never replaced. there is no safety barrier to protect the house on the corner from damage

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.

  • Where is the year old report that still hasn’t been fixed gone? you have done nothing since the first signs were cleared by police from the road in 2024. Please come and update these signs before another car hits the wall.
