Hedge overgrowing footpath

This is a continual problem. The hedge surrounding the property has been allowed to badly overgrown the footpath. An indication of this can be seen in the photo with the street sign. The consequence of this is that pedestrians are regularly forced into the road, which is used as a rat run by local traffic. It is on the walking route to the school, so this includes school children.
