Dangerous and Damaging potholes still there after report of being fixed

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14185277.

There have been several reports of this whole stretch of lane being in extremely poor condition for nearly 18months. The report has now been closed today as"fixed" only there has been "some" tarmac laid in places but the state of the lane is still very poor, potholes have been left and whilst a slight improvement made the road surface is still damaging to cars. Why would you come all this way on 2 seperate occasions and not do the full work required, or at least a better job than has been carried out. Wasting money and failure to address the full issue is shameful.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
