Footpath unsafe due to embankment encroachment
Reported via desktop in the Encroachment of the highways by trees or shrubs category anonymously at 17:47, Thu 25 September 2025
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14185275.
The embankment along the footpath between The church and Old Mill Lane has been gradually encroaching on the footpath resulting in a significant reduction in width. The footpath is on the outside of a dangerous bend and the encroachment is pushing pedestrians closer to the kerb and oncoming traffic. This section of path is used daily by school children and dog walkers. This has been reported several times and still not resolved.
