Dangerous road surface issue causing damage

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14185051.

The issues on this stretch of road are worsening. Currently It's impossible to safely use this road in a small vehicle because of the cracked road surface and dipped edges. Damage has been done to my vehicle and evidence on the road (large scrapes) would suggest to other too. This is dangerous to all road users and a permanent solution should be found

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
