Road collapsed

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14184918.

This stretch of highway is now impassable in my small car with causing damage to my vehicle. The crown is now more than 1ft above the road edges and getting worse. I used to be able to keep to one side and ride the crown but even that is impossible now without damaging my car. I have to take a 4 mile detour every day, just to head south on the A528.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
