Dangerous pavement

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14184692.

The pavement surface is very dangerous. It is uneven and almost impossible to push a pram or wheelchair along. I have twisted my ankle several times as it is so slippery and uneven especially when wet. Please address this as a matter of urgency!

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
