Overgrown trees obscuring streetlight

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown trees/ hedges category anonymously at 12:16, Friday 12 September 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14184440.

The overgrown trees outside and belonging to 7 Peacock Hill on Cooks Cross Alveley are still an issue. I have had an email from you this morning (10/9) saying this is now complete, however as you can see by these photos taken today it has not. We are now going into the darker nights season and these trees are completely covering the streetlight. Trees are still overhanging the public footpath, which leads over to the school. This is a very busy area, at the entrance to the village and isn't being maintained by the owner as part of being a community member. It is unsafe for persons being dropped off at the bus stops nearby and for people using the shops on the darker evenings for this light to be of no use, due to overgrown foliage.
