Multevo not complying with permitted hours

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14184428.

Multevo are delivering works on Bletchley Rd, between Calverhall and Moreton Saye. The permit details on the road closure signs clearly state that the road will only be closed, and diversion in place, from 0930-1600. The road was left closed overnight on Thursday 12th to Friday 13th, and the workforce were on site before 0900 on Friday 13th, again with the road closed. When challenged they admitted they shouldn’t have the road closed and let traffic through. Verges have been rutted up etc from vehicles squeezed past the closure at night and people have been made late arriving for school at Moreton Say. It would also be good to understand whether Multevo have permission from the land owner to be parking their plant overnight on the car park in the middle of Calverhall. Concerns have been raised by several parishioners.
