Investigating
Leaning lamppost and cracked pathway/walkway
Reported via desktop in the Road surface issue category by Cllr Harry Hancock-Davies at 17:00, Tue 9 September 2025
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14184276.
I understand the tarmacked pathway was fixed approx. 2 years ago, however the pathway is completely cracked and rotten which is dangerous e.g., if a bike wheel gets stuck in the cracked tarmac, this could lead to an accident. Due to the pathway being in a poor state of repair, the lamppost on the pathway/walkway is now leaning and it is getting worse by the day. If the lamppost tilts further, it will rip up the pathway and be an additional danger to the public. Please fix this as soon as possible for members of the public and the area.
