Excessive Congestion

The newly finished changes to the station gyratory have done nothing but make congestion worse in all directions. Traffic along Castle Foregate, Smithfield Road & Chester Street are now considerably worse that before the roads were changed. The idea of improving the look of the area has failed miserably as it is just a congestion nightmare along with patchwork pavements of old and new along with a lack of signage for the changed priorities and an unnecessary reduction to one lane along castle foregate on the approach to the station.
