Pothole on Oldbury Wells near the top

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14183632.

This pothole has been in place for quite some months now and is getting deeper. About 2 to 3 inches deep now. As well as the potential to cause significant damage to residents of Oldbury wells’ vehicles it is also part of the National Cycle route 45 and if a bicycle were to hit it at speed it could be quite dangerous

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
