Residents taking action with Shropshire council’s lack of action!
Reported via iOS in the Verge/ visibility problem category anonymously at 17:35, Mon 25 August 2025
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14183331.
After reporting a dangerously overgrown hedge, obscuring a pedestrian crossing and being told that this is NOT a priority even though people have nearly been run over due to lack of visibility. The local residents have taken action because of Shropshire council’s lack of action bordering on incompetence to prevent an injury or even fatality.
Visibility is no longer obscured and the chances of a pedestrian being his are greatly reduced!
It took all of 10 mins to rectify, why couldn’t Shropshire council just do it in the first place. Is this not what we pay council tax for?!
