Large road sign (toward Bridgnorth) Knocked down

Reported via desktop in the Non-illuminated sign missing/ defective category anonymously at 08:54, Friday 22 August 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14183194.

About 2 months ago a large road sign was knocked down by a car that crashed in this area. The car was taken away but the sign was left on the ground. The sign is on the left if you are driving toward bridgnorth, and is approximately 500m further down the road (away from bridgnorth) than the entrance to comer woods. The woods that the sign has fallen into are accessible by the entrance to bonemill cottages but you would not be able to get a vehicle to it, closer than approximatley 200m (unless you accessed it directly from the road). The issue has been there for abotu 2 months
