Potholes and surface breaking up

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14182718.

There are multiple pot holes and the surface is breaking up in many places from the Mobile Home Park where Kinnerley ends and Edgerley starts all the way to Pentra. Someone came about a month ago and filled in a few but they missed more than they filled. Also some of the existing repairs are breaking up because they never seal the edges. The way the holes are repaired is a waste of tax payers money and the council should do a decent job of repairing the holes and replacing the surface where it is just breaking down.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
