Footpath closed

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14182168.

Footpath needs to be repaired urgently as children use this to go to Oldbury wells school. it has a barrier at the moment and a ''closed'' sign for over a month now. The steps up the path need replacing as the hill is used which is dangerous if someone slips there is a good possibility that they end up on the fast dual carriage way. Please get this repaired as a matter of urgency.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
