Blocked drain

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14180824.

Several blocked drains near to the punch bowl pub. Can this be looked. I'm led to believe a collapsed drain. Please call customer when visiting and he would like to meet to discuss.

  • Customer has called again regarding the blocked/ collapsed drains as he has had no response. With the heavy rain fall due to the storms the outside of the pub floods and then it enters the pub/wedding venue. leaving him with out customers. Please can this issue be looked at and please can the customer be contacted and advised when works will commence to the blocked/collapsed drains.

  • Has called as nothing has been done and has had no contact from anyone about when this will be sorted. This needs to be sorted urgently. Please contact him to advise.

  • Customer has called back to try to get this sorted out as a matter of urgency. He has got customers queuing on the car park as they are struggling to get them through the front due to the flooding. He is worried that due to the flooding they won't get enough customers in and will end up having to let staff go due to lack of income. He has had a camera in the drains which show they have collapsed. He asked if someone can get back to him to let him know what is happening with this.

  • Customer phoning for an urgent update as yet again over the weekend, the area was flooded. This is impacting their business. Also flooding took place from the passage way from The Punchbowl to the house opposite & concerns are that could collapse
