Sunken drain opposite pitchford road near to the cross hill bus stop

Reported via desktop in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 15:19, Wed 9 July 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14180486.

This sunken drain is causing severe impact ground shock which is enough to rattle the radiators in my house at 10 Pitchford Road, It's not much to look at but if an inspector waits for a bus or heavy truck to pass they will understand the problem.

  • This sunken drain is now smashed into pieces, it's now about 9 months since I reported it and having looked at it today I now see why my house is shaking so much more than it did. This is now a BIG hole and could easily throw a two wheeler off their motorbike. Can we please get it fixed before it kills someone.
