I am seeking permission to clean up the public footpath posts next to my house (The Stables),which have become an eyesore, by removing the moss and painting the posts grey with wood paint. I will also use black paint to make make the wording, which is etched into the wood, more clear. This is quite a popular route, however I often have to give directions, as the posts themselves do not stand out and are not clearly noticable as public footpath signage. The wood will also soon begin to rot. This will be at my own expense. Thank You. Stephen Hall.
