Street name sign illegible
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14179791.
Road name illegible I first reported this problem in October 2023. An inspection visit was made by a Council operative in April 2024 when it was agreed by the operative that the road sign was indeed in a poor state of repair and was difficult to read in low light. I was advised that a new sign had been ordered, but that deliveries were only made twice a year and consequently the sign would be delivered to the council in November 2024. I have received no further communication and the sign has not been replaced. The residents of Arley View Close work together to clean the gutters, mow the grass verge and tend to the flower bed on the main road in an attempt to make our village look a little better. It would be appreciated if the council could provide the new sign to aid our efforts. THIS WAS REORTED AGAIN A FEW MONTHS AGO. USUAL AUTO REPLY FROM COUNCIL BUT NOTHING SINCE. I WILL KEEP REPORTING THIS UNTIL THE COUNCIL REPLIES. SMALL PROBLEM I KNOW, BUT ALSO EASY AND CHEAP TO REMEDY.
