Overgrown hedges and shrubs

Reported via mobile in the Encroachment of the highways by trees or shrubs category anonymously at 11:25, Wed 18 June 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council 1 minute later. Council ref: 14179241.

The footpath is blocked by overgrown hedges and shrubs. This is quite urgent as it's a common route for children to take to school, and they are having to walk out into the narrow road which is busy with cars parking along one side for the school run. It's been like this for around two months now. Somebody was cutting a tree down around 5 weeks ago and I thought they'd do the hedges as well, but they've since been left. There are two areas where the hedging prevents the footpath from being used, just 1 or 2 metres apart. It's the hedging separating the elderly bungalows from the main walkway down Church Road - the pin should be pretty accurate.
