No Road surface

Reported via desktop in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 15:09, Mon 9 June 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14178677.

There is little or no original road surface on Manor Lane off the Longden Road. This has been getting steadily worse for at least the last 3 years - has been reported on numerous occasions - this stretch of about 200m now has no consistent surface and is now just a mix of loose tarmac chippings, potholes and broken up road surface. Just when is this going to addressed? You are currently undertaking repairs on the Longden Road so I can’t understand why this work does not include Manor Lane. There are no longer any junction markings at the junction with Manor Lane and Longden Road. Manor lane is a residential street leading to Well Mead Lane, another residential street so this is not a country lane seeing little or no use. Each time it’s been reported we get the stock response “this will be added to an up and coming programme of works” - when do you anticipate making either an attempt to patch or make good this section.?
