How many times does it take to fix the same pothole?

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14178390.

A week after being filled in yet again, the same pothole on Buildwas bridge, which has been reported for months is breaking up again! Cars swerve to avoid it, several tyres have been ruined and it's only a matter of time before a serious accident happens. Please, please do a proper job rather than the several shoddy attempts made up to now!

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
