Damage to road structure

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14178388.

We are concerned at the excessive vibrations in our (and neighbouring) houses, and worried that structural damage may be occurring. It is far worse when large vehicles are using this stretch of road at speed. In addition to property concerns, there are safety concerns for vehicles and pedestrians using this road. We understand that repairs took place in 2023 which resolved the issue, but the problem has now re-occurred which suggests an issue with the structure of the road.

  • The ‘fix’ has made some minor improvement, but there are still significant vibrations in our homes. Can someone please come to assess this, and the subsequent damage being caused.

  • This issue has not been resolved. Vibrations in my home, and neighbouring homes, are excessive, and causing damage to our properties. I would like to ask that someone comes into the house to review the vibrations before determining that ‘no further action is required’
