Blocked drains causing flooding to homes

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14178244.

There is a particularly large amount of leaf fall on this road which has caused drains to block more easily and during rain fall the water flows towards the houses north of Crowmeole Drive. I will contact the tree team and streetscene separately about the trees and leaf fall. Please can you arrange for the drains to be cleared.

  • I've have just picked up an answerphone message from Housing Plus group to indicate that these blocked drains are causing flooding into nearby homes. Please can this be dealt with as a priority.

  • This is still an issue. Because the drains are blocked and the homes are lower than the road, they suffer badly from surface water flooding.
