Since recent works by Severn Trent Water (May 2025) the main rain water drain at the junction of School Lane and Broome Rd is now covered by mud. It was clear before the works. This drain redirects water that will otherwise run down the hill and possibly flood the village and in icy conditions will make the junction very dangerous.
