Overgrown hedge encroaching into my garden

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown trees/ hedges category anonymously at 17:28, Mon 2 June 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14178189.

Accessed from Wayhill turning head, Our side of the hedge is never cut and it is now growing into my garden ... on top of that there is poisonous "white bryony" growing through the hedge and into my garden. I have grandchildren that play in my garden and it is worrying incase they come into contact with it. Regards Pam McVean (10 Wayhill)

  • The top and roadside of the hedge was cut sometime last week (15/19th September 25) but still nothing has been done on the our side (the housing side of Wayhill) I cannot get to the back of my property to keep MY fence and hedging tidy. Please it needs to be done ASAP! regards Pam McVean

  • I have had no response at all about the overgrown hedge since I first reported it on 2/06/25 !!! I am looking to sell my house next year .... and this will cause issues with protentional buyers !!! Please can something be done soon, as I do not have access to my own boundary fencing. Regards Pam McVean (10 Wayhill)
