Wrong Road Being Repaired?

Called about the planned carriageway repairs for part of Wood Lane. One.network shows planned work from 16 June to 18 June for the part of Wood Lane that runs past Green Hurst Farm SY4 5LH. Customer said that this stretch appears to be in reasonable condition. The part from The Woodlands, SY4 5LH to Rose Cottage, TF9 3NE is in a poor state. No roadworks appear to be planned here? Are SC planning to repair the wrong section of Wood Lane?

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
