Light not be replaced -

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14176928.

Opposite 72 Mount Pleasant Road, Shrewsbury, SY1 3BL

Light was reported as damaged and the light was hanging by the cable. Light fitting has been removed, please can you advise when a new light fixture will be installed

  • I have received a phone call about the street light not being replaced yet outside of 74 Mount Pleasant Road SY1 3BL. Could you please chase the contractor to find out an estimated date of replacement?

  • Thank you for your continuing patience. We are still working towards a date of when the issue will be resolved. We will update you further when action has been taken.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
