Tree and hedgerow growth onto carriageway.

Reported via desktop in the Encroachment of the highways by trees or shrubs category by parish clerk at 13:58, Monday 12 May 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14176748.

Highley Parish Council paid to have the tree over the bus shelter cut last year even though this is the responsibility of the land owner, at the farm behind the hedgerow. The tree has since grown over the other side of the bus shelter now (we just made the bus shelter safe last season) it is hanging perilously, no nests are visible, the bus is banging into it when it passes.
