No road matkings

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14176645.

The road from edge old roundabout to Pontesbury A488 has barely any road markings. All the white lines are completely gone in large parts of Hanwood village. I read that they are surface dressing in Pontesbury on the 11 may …… why not Hanwood which is much worse? Surely it would make sense to do the whole stretch of road at the same time?

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
