Shoddy Fix - update
Reported via desktop in the Pothole in a road category anonymously at 18:21, Fri 9 May 2025
Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14176628.
Original ref: 14167411 I reported this bad fix in January, making it very clear this would not hold. What a surprise, the metal bridge structure is once again on full show and hard to avoid when the road is busy or it's dark. Significant damage will be caused to vehicles once again. This needs a full structural repair- not a dodgy patch up.

Pothole now starting to form once again on opposite side of carriageway in the same area as last time. This won't be long before it is also a very dangerous pothole like the one I've reported above. Cars are being damaged- it is vital this is fixed properly asap. It requires surveying properly as on the join of the bridge, a lot more than a quick lump of tarmac.

You've once again thrown some tarmac in the hole. I'll give this approx 3 weeks before this is once again a hole! Completely ignoring the opening up of another hole on the opposite carriage way which in a few weeks will also have bridge structure visible.
