Huge pot hole

The pot hole is over 100mm in depth, this is causing multiple punctures, damage to alloy wheels, suspension and tracking. The pot hole is unavoidable when an oncoming car is passing at the same time, the pot hole has been there for weeks. This particular pot hole has caused significant cost and damage to my vehicle, please let me know how the costs can be supported by the council.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
