Road sign

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14175252.

A new road sign has been erected here saying "Higher Road" but this is at the spot where one saying "Ellesmere Road" has been waiting to be re-erected for perhaps 8 years following the old one being destroyed in road accident. the one saying "Higher Road" should have been erected on other side of Newton Lane by what's marked as Pumping station on map. Both original signs were destroyed in same accident. Please correct this.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
