Potholes both sides of the road causing potential danger to life to cyclists

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14174080.

Developing potholes along with all of the others on this stretch of road towards Ruckley. The whole stretch of road is virtually impassable due to potholes on both sides. It is inevitable that this is likely to cause injury or death particularly to cyclists and other road users. Issues ongoing for 3 months.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
