Several metres of road adjacent to londis carpark is dangerous

Reported via desktop in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 05:52, Thu 20 March 2025

Sent to Shropshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 14173494.

The road adjacent to the car parking area is so bad it has affected londis' kerbstones and is knocking them up. That area is breaking up and is also a trip hazzard as well as dangerous for cars driving on and off the forecourt

  • I have noticed the white chalk mark around most of the problem. However, is there a reason that the other section, in reality the start of the problem, has not been included in the planned repairs in that area please? I have attached the unchalked area, and as you can see there is a gap between the concourse to the shop and the road - caused by cables being dug up, or whatever, after the concourse was laid.

  • The kerb has now been fixed and level so the work to the road can now go ahead - actually it's now worse than it was and is a trip hazard
