Deep holes and blocked gullies

The blocked gullies are exacerbating the erosion of potholes further down the hill, by the torrents of water that have been flowing down the lane. The sides are getting washed away, and large tractors and trailers accessing the two farms plus additional tenants on the land are rapidly breaking up the surface.

  • The issue you reported has been assessed and the necessary work will be included in our programme of upcoming maintenance.

    Our priority is to be effective at responding to the most serious problems so at this time we are unable to provide an exact timescale.

    In the meantime until these works can be undertaken, we will continue to undertake routine inspections, whereby notifiable issues are recorded and scheduled for action.
